The Women’s A Cappella Association
For seven years, the Women’s A Cappella Association lived out the intended mission of co-founders elias wolf and Evynne Hollens: to lift up women, queer and Global Majority singers in the vocal music scene – to build community, and make the a cappella community more inclusive.
WACA hosted seven festivals, celebrating femme, queer and BIPOC singers, educators and producers in the field. elias served as Executive Director and Education Coordinator until 2019 when WACA closed its doors.
The mission continues to be served through elias’ work in the world.
